Supporting the Collective Good

CoreUs represents our personal effort to more consistently devote our lives to serving and inspiring service by others in support of the collective good.

The idea for the enlightenment ring was inspired by the compelling ideas presented by Eckhart Tolle in "A New Earth" - one of which was his recounting of an ancient Sufi teaching. It is the tale of a King who is searching for inner peace. The King called on a wise man seeking guidance and offered to pay any price. The wise man only required the King's word that he would honor his advice. The wise man returned a few days later and presented the King with a ring inscribed with the words "This, too, will pass." His simple instruction was for the King to keep the ring close and feel the letters both during times of happiness and sadness - to be reminded of the temporary nature of all things. Because it is so easy to get caught-up in the daily demands of life we wanted a way for us all to keep this idea of nonattachment close - and necessarily connected with the other two keys to enlightenment taught by Mr. Tolle - nonresistance and nonjudgment. We hope this brings you comfort, joy and strength.

The enlightenment ring was designed by our friends Sasha, Sophie, and David of Sophie's Creations in Queens, New York. Their over 30 years of industry experience, and their willingness to work with us in good faith has been invaluable.
